How Cement In Lebanon Is Manufactured ?
Cement in Lebanon is manufactured by warming a mixture of smooth stone, slush and sand in a revolving oven under a temperature reach 1450ºC.
Then it will give us cement small balls or called “Clinker” and here we are in the middle of the manufacturing process.
After the cement get out from the oven it is cooled, then grinded to give us the cement powder.
The fuel combustion in this process to heat the oven is approximately 40% of cement manufacturing process.
The 60% of the process is when stone is over heated, it shot its carbon atoms and produce CO2 in the oven.
